SKU: VLG-BTS-ING-0 Category:

The Barbera d’Asti Superiore has been produced with the best Barbera grapes grown in the Merli vineyard.

Strains of Barbera grown in this vineyard experience optimal environmental exposure and, with a white ‘poor’ soil, they naturally produce very few grapes.

The production is about 5000 kg per hectare (much lower than the 9000 outlined by the specification).

This wine is dedicated to, and named after my daughter Ingrid. It is a great wine!

About the producer

Cascina Valeggia produces and sells Monferrato wines.

The wines produced are: Freisa d’Asti, Grignolino d’Asti, Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Barbera d’Asti Superiore, Monferrato Rosso, Piedmont Barbera.

Tra tutte le barbera la mia preferita è indubbiamente quella d’Asti. Non ho mai assaggiato vini di Valeggia, buona scoperta
