A timeless classic, born from the Turin tradition and a passion for mixology.
The base is a Cortese wine, enriched with alcohol, sugar, and caramel, then infused with a blend of botanicals.
Bitter orange, cinchona, gentian, and rhubarb offer digestive properties, while wormwood lends its elegant and subtle bitter tone that lingers on the inner sides of the mouth.
It’s perfect to enjoy neat or over ice, but it also takes center stage in iconic cocktails like the Americano—Filippo’s personal favorite.
Sight
Deep amber with golden reflections.
Nose
A complex and captivating bouquet: citrus, aromatic herbs, and spices intertwine in perfect harmony between sweetness and bitterness.
Taste
Soft and enveloping, with an elegant bitter touch. Wormwood and cinchona deliver a persistent and refined finish, with a subtle spicy note.
Pairing tips
Filippo recommends enjoying it neat, with an orange peel and an ice cube, paired with appetizers and cheeses.
Want to give your aperitif a twist? Use it to mix an iconic cocktail like the Americano, the Negroni, or the Milano-Torino.
Da evitare: desserts and cured meats, as they could throw off its aromatic balance.
