The Pelissero family owns nebbiolo plots in Barbaresco, Treiso and Neive.
Since those villages are Barbaresco lands, they decided to add this appellation to their labels.
Grandfather Sergio, however, was a true “Barolista“: he did not see the great potential of Barbaresco and did not share the desire common to all his family members.
But you know, the majority wins and so, rolling up their sleeves, the new wine was born.
Grandpa Sergio tasted it. From that day on, his prejudices ceased: how could anyone say no to such a balanced, full-bodied and persistent taste?
To this day, Barbaresco is still one of his favourite wines.

A beautiful ruby-red colour.
Nose
The olfactory profile expresses great elegance and finesse. Floral aromas of violets and small red fruits, ethereal and spicy notes emerge.
Taste
The palate is balanced, full-bodied, with velvety tannins and good freshness. The finish is long and persistent.
Pairing tips
Try it with our local dishes, which are quick to make and really delicious. We suggest herb omelettes and anchovies in green sauce. You won’t regret it.
An advice on what NOT to pair it with? Chicken.
It’s your guy if…
