LoveLanghe Albarretta Energy Bar — Langa crunch, nature’s energy —

Everything started in Albaretto Torre, a small village nestled in the hills of Alta Langa, where sports enthusiasts—especially cyclists—often pass by the LoveLanghe office.

Ilenia used to see them stop every day for a break with their energy bars, until one day she thought: “Why not create a bar made with local ingredients?”

That’s how, in collaboration with a local hazelnut producer, a handmade and sustainable idea was born. A simple bar that brings together flavour, energy, and texture.

Only six ingredients:

• hazelnuts – a natural source of energy, thanks to their rich, fragrant oil
• fruit (strawberries, apples, and pears) – natural sugars that are easily absorbed
• honey – a natural antioxidant, sweet and wholesome, that also acts as a preservative
• corn – adds protein and irresistible crunch

A name, a story

The name came out of a moment of pure creativity: a lively brainstorming session between Ilenia and the LoveLanghe team.

Between laughs, someone shouted: “Albarretta!” — the perfect play on words between Albaretto Torre and “barretta” (Italian for “bar”).

Today, that name captures the identity of the territory and the short supply chain that defines it.

On the packaging, the tower of Albaretto comes to life in the shape of the bar: a playful visual reference and a symbol of its origins.

Sight

Golden and tempting, you can clearly see the hazelnuts, fruit, and corn that make it up.

Nose

Its aroma is irresistible: as soon as you open it, you’ll notice the intense fragrance of hazelnuts.

Taste

Crunchy from the corn, naturally sweet but never cloying.

Pairing tips

The perfect energising snack during a bike ride, a walk, or after a workout. Or enjoy it as a mid-morning or afternoon treat.
