Moscato plays the role of a product of excellence in the Asti area, a wine that has made and continues to make the success of an entire territory.
The selected grapes are gently pressed to obtain a rich and dense must, which is then decanted and filtered. Partial fermentation allows to preserve the typical fragrance of this wine and the effervescence keeps it alive and fresh.
Its liveliness makes Moscato d’Asti DOCG a versatile and perfect product on a thousand occasions, much more than a dessert wine.
Sight
It is straw yellow of medium intensity, with delicate greenish reflections.
Nose
The bouquet is intense, persistent and fragrant. The characteristic aroma is accompanied by floral hints of peach and honey.
Taste
Lively in the mouth and sweet, it is characterised by a hint of acidity that makes it fresh and never cloying.
Pairing tips
Try it with dessert: dry pastries and hazelnut cake are ideal. Remember, however, that it is an excellent joker to play during aperitifs, in the company of a few curious friends, but beware, it could become a habit!
It’s your guy if…
…Sweet and fruity are two characteristics you look for in a wine.
