The Langhe Bianco appellation, without the grape variety specification, allows to assemble within it all the varieties of the same color that can be produced in the Langhe territory.
Given the low yield obtained due to the drought, Pelissero decided to combine in a single bottle the three white grape varieties produced in the estate: Favorita, Riesling and a small amount of Chardonnay.
The result is a young, fresh, cheerful and carefree wine suitable for every moment of daily conviviality.
The production philosophy is always to contain cellar operations as much as possible in an attempt to bring the most intact “bunch of grapes” possible into the bottle.
Sight
Its color immediately indicates the complexity that the three varieties can express: deep straw yellow with greenish highlights.
Nose
Notes of acacia flowers, honey, white almonds and the classic hint of bread crust traceable to yeast lysis.
Taste
Fresh, soft, savory, with a nice palate-pleasing persistence that makes the wine appealing and easy-drinking.
It’s your guy if…
…Looking for a white to go with a simple, no-frills meal.
