The idea behind this wine is simple: bring Dolcetto back to its most immediate nature, as a fresh, easy-drinking red made to be enjoyed without too much fuss.

To achieve this, part of the grapes undergo whole-cluster carbonic maceration, while the rest are crushed and destemmed. After fermentation, the wine ages for five months in stainless steel.

The result? A young, fragrant Dolcetto made for the everyday table. And when the weather gets warmer, you can even serve it slightly chilled and take it straight to aperitivo.

Sight

It is intense, clear ruby red, with lively violet reflections.

Nose

The profile is vinous and fruity, with marasca cherry and sour cherry accompanied by notes of violet and lavender. A light spicy note of clove emerges on the finish.

Taste

It is smooth, fresh and fragrant, with notes of marasca cherry, plum and raspberry. The finish brings balsamic notes, almond and a slightly bitter touch.

The tannins are silky and lightly astringent. It is medium-bodied, with good savoriness and pleasant persistence, but above all, it is ready to drink now.

Pairing tips

This is an everyday red, versatile enough to accompany you throughout the meal.

Serve it at 16–18°C. In summer, try it as an aperitivo at around 14°C, or even a few degrees cooler.

To avoid: overly elaborate dishes. This Dolcetto is at its best with simple food that doesn’t overpower its freshness and easy-drinking character.

It’s your guy if…

…You’re looking for a young, easy-drinking Dolcetto that can take you from the dinner table to aperitivo.
