This Barbera for Maria is a sprightly and joyful young lady, the kind that leaves a trail of perfume on the road.
And in fact, it is the latter that characterizes it, a really noticeable aroma of red fruits, so much so that one day, by mistake, Maria and Francesco put it in the refrigerator among their whites and, once they took it out, they still wanted to taste it.
The result? A red that is not afraid of low temperatures and maintains its characteristics, giving an unexpected versatility.
The color is a beautiful bright ruby red.
We were saying, red fruits. Hints of plum and blackberry explode.
The palate is fresh, full, persistent, and very balanced.
Back to versatility. Want to try it fresh, knowing you can’t go wrong? Serve it around 12-14 °C and pair it with fish dishes.
Do you prefer it at the classic temperature of 16-18 °C? Try it with meats that do not require long cooking, such as escalope or tagliata.
It’s your guy if…
…If you want to make a change and try matching red with fish.
