This Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC has a very old history, dating back to when grandfather Sergio took over the reins of the winery between the 1960s and 1970s.
The nebbiolo vineyard, whose grapes yield this wine, is one of the oldest. Strongly desired by Sergio, it allowed him to be one of the first to have made wine.
Sight
A beautiful garnet-red color.
Nose
Ethereal, delicate, ample and persistent scents immediately present themselves.
Taste
It is full, complex, dry and harmonious. Its austerity is related to the presence of sweet and complex tannins.
Pairing tips
We never told you, but you can pair wine with a good sandwich, too. With this Nebbiolo, the one with porchetta is Oscar-worthy!
Yes to simple dishes, but don’t make the mistake of pairing it with cold appetizers like tomato and mozzarella or melon and prosciutto.
It’s your guy if…
…You don’t want to give up a good glass of Nebbiolo on any occasion.
