Lactic curd cheese; very soft, creamy, slightly acidic when fresh, but a lot less if it has seasoned a few days. If it is well preserved it can last up to one month if not more. Over time it tends to become more spicy.

Cheese wheel of 300 g.


Ideally paired with a Grignolino, a young white wine, and a chili sauce.

    Cascina Valeggia has always produced and sold typical Monferrato wines. In addition, they also produce raw milk cheeses in the small dairy. The tastes are genuine, and derive from the teachings of the past generations. Read more

    Delivery is only throughout Italy (Sicily and Sardinia excluded).
