Here we go off the rails. The Riserva Bastia undergoes a short maceration on the skins, matures six months in wood and is kept for a long time in the bottle.
It is a wine that lasts over time and offers completely distinct aromas and structure: in short, not the usual Arneis, but a product to try because it is unique.
Sight
It is deep straw yellow.
Nose
The bouquet is very intense and persistent with hints of medicinal herbs such as sage, thyme, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus and final notes of chamomile.
Taste
In the mouth, the wine is savoury, well-structured and harmonious.
Pairing tips
Fabrizio recommends it with white meats, with rabbit (with olives or herbs) and with important but not too spicy dishes.
A good alternative to food? After dinner, on the sofa, while you listen to a good record and lose yourself in smelling its incredible aroma, even for a whole hour.
It’s your guy if…
…If you are looking for something different from the classic Arneis or if you want to pamper yourself in a moment of meditation after dinner.
