Bussia is a historic and highly regarded MGA in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba, considered one of the most renowned areas in the entire Barolo region.
With its 190 hectares of vineyards, it is also the largest cru in the municipality and was the first to be officially recognized and labeled in 1961.
This Barolo comes from Bussia Soprana; Bussia Sottana, on the other hand, lies at a lower altitude.
Sight
It is garnet red, with hues that tend toward orange as it ages.
Nose
Its aroma is intense and complex. You may notice notes of violet and vanilla.
Taste
You’ll find it smooth, broad, and warm. Its structure is well defined, supported by an elegant persistence.
Pairing tips
Red meats, cheeses, and game are the most obvious choices. However, it may surprise you (without disappointing) when paired with simple dishes, pasta, and vegetable-based preparations.

We are very careful about the quality of the packaging, to avoid problems during shipping.
