This Metodo Classico comes from the black grapes grown by Cascina La Badia (shhh! we can’t tell you which ones…).
A desired gamble by brothers Alberto and Pierangelo Ruggerone, vigneron and owners of the winery.
Satisfied with the result, they decided to call their wine ONE, i.e., Cascina’s first sparkling wine, and joked about calling it “RuggerONE“.
Sight
It is rose petal in color, with fine and very persistent perlage.
Nose
It’s elegant. Can you smell the notes of dried flowers, potpourri and red fruits, balanced by fresh bread crust and hazelnut?
Taste
It is dense, slender and vertical. It develops with a lingering saline finish.
Pairing tips
The perfect pairings are seafood and fish, both raw and cooked. Its texture allows you to keep tasting it throughout the meal.
To avoid: desserts.
It’s your guy if…
…If you are looking for a curious interpretation of an iconic indigenous red grape variety and if you seek freshness and authenticity in your glass.
