Sabbia is obtained using white grapes of the area of productionvinified as a red wine, with skins contact during fermentation, and aging in barrique.

Oxidized wines have no additives and are very natural with complex aromas and flavours.

Sabbia is no exception; expect chamomile and green tea, ripe peaches and toasty character with nutty notes. Rich and full-bodied.

This highly unique wine ferments in steel tanks, without controlled temperature, and slow maceration with skins and seeds.

Long aging occur in old French barriques, typical to this process.

The wine’s sand colour mirrors the vineyard’s orange colour and is the inspiration for its name – Sabbia – Italian word for “sand”.

Colour: gold yellow with orange reflections.

Bouquet: intense, with note of ripe peaches and apricots. Light spices, green tea and chamomile.

Flavour: full-bodied, pleasant note of ripe yellow fruits and nuts. Mineral and saline sensations with light oak nuances.

Serving temperature: 8-10 °C – 47-50 °F

Serving suggestions: fish soup, foie-gras, spicy ethnic foods.

    Shipping & Delivery

    The order is processed on the same day if executed and paid by 12.00 pm. The courier picks up the parcels the day after the order is processed (excluding: low cost delivery and Extra EU).

    As long as the package is not taken over by the courier, the indications provided by the carrier regarding the presumed delivery date are estimated and will subsequently be confirmed by the courier.

    Quick delivery — I’d like to receive my package as soon as possible

    If you intend to buy products from a single manufacturer or if you want to quickly receive products from different manufacturers (with separate packages, shipped directly by the producers):

    • Italy → UPS Standard, delivery within 2 — 3 working days
    • EU Area → UPS Standard, delivery within 3 — 6 working days

    Low cost delivery — I’d rather save money and wait a few days

    If you want to buy products from different manufacturers and receive them in one delivery:

    • Italy → UPS Standard, delivery within 5 — 8 working days
    • EU Area → UPS Standard, delivery within 5 — 9 working days

    Following the order processing, the bottles are collected to be packed in the least number of packages and processed with a single waybill.

    Extra EU orders

    Following the order processing, the goods are delivered to MBE who will process the order by selecting a carrier and following the regulations in force.

    Packaging

    We are very careful about the quality of the packaging, to avoid problems during shipping.

    For the bottles we use packages that are suitable for transport, which keep the contents still. You may receive two different types (both very valid and chosen according to the regulations of the shipping countries):

    • polystyrene structure inside cardboard boxes
    • cardboard structure and boxes

    As for gastronomic products, these are also shipped in cardboard boxes with bubble wrap or air cushions inside.

    By choosing credit card, the payment is immediate and safe. It occurs through a secure connection that protects your data, which is encrypted during the transaction.

    Also the PayPal option is immediate. In this case, if you have a PayPal account, your card details remain hidden. The system redirects you to the PayPal site, where you will be asked to log in directly with your credentials (email and password).

    Bank Transfer

    By choosing the bank transfer you end up having longer processing times for we must make sure that we have received the payment, before shipping the goods. This payment method is also safe, but if you are in a hurry to receive your products we recommend choosing an alternative payment method.
