Barbera, a wine that is widespread in the Langhe, is characterized by a genuine freshness.
When vintages become particularly favorable, after aging in wooden casks, it becomes Barbera d’Alba Superiore DOC. Its color, aroma and taste are quite intense and it presents itself as a great wine suitable to accompany savory meats, game, seasoned and blue cheeses and seasoned cold cuts.
Color: very intense ruby red garnet with light orange reflections.
Aroma: ample with notes of cherry marmalade, chocolate, sweet tobacco and vanilla.
Flavor: full-bodied and harmonious with a persistent spicy finale.

Giorgio leads the small winery created three generations ago by his grandfather in Monforte d’Alba and cultivates 7.5 hectares of vineyards of Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2002 he obtained the Bioagricert organic certification.
