The word Turna in Piedmontese indicates a portion of the vineyard. La Turna is a vintage Barbera and one of the best expressions of this vine in the Asti area. We can now consider it part of the identity of the place, in a daily relationship between good food and good wine.
For a long time Barbera d’Asti was underestimated, as if being an everyday wine of the Piedmontese tradition made it a less noble product.
For this, with our commitment, we participate in its revaluation. Bringing Barbera La Turna to the table means choosing a wine of great quality, every day.

Vinification (Wine-making)
Method: La Turna is one of the best expressions of vintage Barbera d’Asti DOCG present in the Asti area. It comes from the transformation of the grapes produced in vineyards located on a predominantly calcareous-sandy soil, therefore suited to conferring fine aromas to the wine. The grapes are softly pressed in the absence of stalks. The crushed grapes are transferred to steel tanks and selected yeasts are added. Fermentation takes place in 8-10 days at a controlled temperature never above 28 ° C of which only 6 days in contact with the skins. The malolactic fermentation is induced in steel and the temperature is kept above 20 ° C. The period of maturation in steel lasts about 6 months without the use of clarifiers or filtration that would affect the body of the wine. After bottling, a further refinement is made for a maximum of 3 months in the bottle, before being put on the market
